This rather large and unusual hand sculpted, cold painted  terracotta pitcher from the 1970's measures 9 3/4" tall x 7" x 12" overall and takes the form of a grotesque monster's head in the vein of Frankenstein's monster.  As the images show, it is sturdily constructed with respectable details and nice painted surface.  There is minor wear to th paint on the rim and it is free of cracks, chips and repairs.  You will note shrinkage lines on the bottom from firing and I see no signature.
