Cotton sateen characteristics: Cotton fabric woven like satin with a glossy surface. Lustrous and smooth with the sheen in a filling direction. Combed yarns are used. Better qualities are mercerised to give a higher sheen
Uses: linings for draperies, bedspreads, slip covers
