Description:  It is an original antique map circa 1797, approximately 225 years old by Johann Michael Probst from his Atlas Minor ex Tabulis. The map is well documented in the cartouche which states that it is by Ioh. (or Johann) Michael Probst, Augsburg in the bottom margin. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic.

Size: The entire page measures 7 1/2  by 11 3/4 inches (20x30cm) with the printed area slightly smaller as seen in the main pic.

Condition: Fair condition for its age, blank on reverse, with original handcoloring as issued, printed on a light bluish tint cotton page, very flexible and not brittle, with the copper plate marks embossed in the margins. Blue tinted paper became popular for a short period during the last quarter of the 18th century.  It has a stain along the bottom and general soiling from handling, see the pics and description below.
