PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Permatex’s Thread Sealant with PTFE is an economical general-purpose fitting sealant. Permatex’s Thread Sealant outperforms traditional tapes and pipe dopes, it seals and resists pressure in air, oil, diesel fuel and hydraulic systems. Thread Sealant remains pliable at higher and lower temperatures.

Temperature Range: -65oF to 300oF (-54oC to 149oC)

DIRECTIONS:

Clean threads. Apply continuous bead and spread evenly.
Assemble parts and tighten. Remains pliable. Use isopropyl alcohol to
remove excess dried sealant.
