User Guide:
Insert the red and black probe tips into the 4mm banana sockets.
The red and black probe tips touch the two pins of the capacitor without distinguishing between positive and negative.
The voltmeter will show the remaining voltage of the capacitor and when the voltage is about 10V, the LED display will go off. At this time, the probe should continue to discharge for about 10 seconds before it can be discharged below 5V.
How to convert AC voltage to DC voltage:
The voltmeter shows DC voltage. If it is an AC voltage, it should be converted to a DC voltage with a simple calculation.
AC voltage = voltage displayed on the voltmeter/0.9 (conversion factor is 0.9)
lE. g: If the voltage on the voltmeter is 207VDC, the actual AC voltage is 207VDC/0.9=230VAC
Note:
1. If used as a voltmeter, when measuring AC voltage 230V, the measurement time should not exceed 20s.
2. In order to use the discharge device safely, it is recommended to use it below 600VDC.
3. Please disconnect the 230V AC voltage before discharging the capacitor.
4. Under 10V voltage, the voltmeter does not display, but it can continue to discharge.
5. The energy on the capacitor should not exceed a maximum of 150J.
