Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 114 years old with two vertical folds as issued. It has a "Copyright, 1899, by the Mathews-Northrup Co. Buffalo, NY" in the small print at the bottom, although it was published around 1900 based on the inclusion of the 1890 census population figuresThere is a map of Kansas on the reverse. It is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown against a dark background in the pic. A nice large antique map that would frame up well. An interesting map in a rare format with Oklahoma & Indian Territory at the top and Texas below printed on an extended foldout page with two horizontal folds.
Size: The map area measures approximately 12 by 20 inches (30x50cm) on a 13 1/2 by 22" (34x56cm) page.
Condition: It is in Very Good condition with two horizontal fold as issued, binding holes in the bottom margin and a minor repair of an edge tear on reverse, otherwise it is very clean with bright color that would frame up well, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
