Interface and ISO cables allowing use of original steering wheel control buttons with a new Kenwood aftermarket radio head-unit, including phone buttons when connected to a compatible Bluetooth head unit.

This interface allows use of cars original steering wheel buttons with compatible aftermarket radios and head unit.

Suitable for Honda Civic and CRV cars built between 2012 and 2017 with the original dealer fitted navigation radio (Honda part number 9953838). The interface provides power and steering wheel controls for the new radio and outputs the the speakers. It also includes a T-harness to fit behind the original iMID display above the radio so that when the radio is turned off the steering wheel controls can be used to adjust original vehicle settings on this display. Fitting instructions are included.

Not compatible with cars with any other original sound system, see gallery image for example of original compatible sound system.

Compatible with the following vehicles with original dealer fitted navigation radio only:

Honda:
Civic (FK) (2012 - 2017)
CR-V (2012 - 2017)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This product comes with a patch lead for an Kenwood head unit and will only work with Alpine radios. Please see our other items for versions with the patch leads for other radio manufacturers.

FITTING NOTE: The ability to control the iMID display relies on the aftermarket radio fitted having the ability to be turned off so that the 12v output is no longer outputting. Some radios (observed on the Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB and SPH-DA360DAB) only turn the screen off and continue to output 12v which does not allow the interface to switch over to the original display.
