For your consideration: If you are looking for a really "Out of the Ordinary" gift for a baseball/catcher fan in your life, this glove could just be the perfect find for you...a catchers glove with a hand written love note inside the palm of the glove from the giver to the receiver...yes really!!!...not kidding.  I have never seen this...ever...before, in all my 24 years of selling out here on the 'bay!

Up for sale, we have a really nice Vintage Regent CM-116 31"/32" inch baseball catchers glove glove for right handed throw players, Made in Japan somewhere in the mid/late 1960's to the mid 1970's I believe.

Now this is a really nice glove...as a glove...very typical of the Japanese made Regent gloves made in the 60's and 70's, and I will get to more on that in a bit...but...what is really cool and unusual about this glove is that it was a real and true "gift of love" from someone, to their someone very special in their heart and life, and they hand wrote a love note in the palm of the glove to express their feelings for their beloved in giving them this ever so special gift.  It is really heartwarming to read and is as good or better than any Hallmark Christmas TV movie you will watch this year...if you watch those...oh...you know you do...admit it {;-)

I have been "treasure hunting and selling" on Ebay for 24 years now, and I have never seen anything this before on anything I have found...especially on a baseball glove...for goodness sakes.  Just amazing and very very cool, and it really clearly meant a lot to someone, all those many years ago.  I wonder where those two people are now in their lives, together or not, and if they both remember this special gift.

The glove itself is a very nice glove, very well made and in very good to excellent overall condition...see the item condition description box. It would be a playable glove, but, given it's unique "addition" in the palm, I think if is more of a display item in a unique collection display setting.

Like I said, if you are looking for a very clever and unique gift for the super huge baseball fan in your life that "has it all"...well...I bet they don't have this in their collection, and they would most certainly be the "Only Kid On Their Block" to have one of these {;-)
