Description

Super rare master Steve Lukather signature model! Early RS1010SL manufactured from 1983 to 1985 is now in stock!

Steve Lukather is currently active in a variety of styles, mainly with TOTO. A used item of "RS1010SL-MS" sold by Ibanez, which we used to endorse, has arrived.

This is an early spec RS1010SL made in 1984 that does not have a top lock nut. The original RS (Road Star) has an arch top and a thin double cutaway shape that fits easily to the body in order to accommodate the rock and jazz fusion that were popular in the 80s and the diversifying music genres. This is a bolt-on model with Steve Lukather's signature slightly thicker neck shape. It has a beautiful bird's eye maple body, a lightweight basswood body, a hard and clear-sounding maple neck, and a dark ebony fingerboard. It has a gorgeous look with "snowflake" inlays that look like snowflakes. I am. The pickups are the famous "Super 58 Pickup", which is also used in semi-acoustic models and AR, on the front, and the custom-wound "SL Special" on the rear, and the original duo sound switch is still in use. The fact that it remains is also a good point.

The condition of this individual item is that the paint has dulled due to aging, the hardware has deteriorated, there are small dents, and overall there are fine scratches and scratches, but it is in player's condition with no problems with the electrical system or playing surface. I am. There are few scratches on the back of the neck, and playability is good with only about 50% of the truss rod and frets remaining. A fairly sturdy Ibanez gig bag is included. Honestly, it's really nice.... After playing it, I was convinced that Lukather, who originally used the ES-335, had created a signature model based on the RS, rather than an AR or semi-acoustic model. It doesn't come around very often, so don't miss out!
