Melee is a distortion and reverb combo pedal that creates a huge wall of sound. Create your ideal Wall of Noise by using the joystick to adjust the amount and mix of each effect, including 3 types of reverb programs, switching the order of distortion and reverb, and various settings!

■Algorithm

Melee comes with three different reverb programs. You can change this by pressing the bypass and sustain switches at the same time.

● Ambient Reverb: A reverb with huge trails. Perfect for soaring melody lines and shoegaze chord progressions.

● Octave Down Reverb: Adds an octave down, similar to Slö's Dark mode, for an eerie, dark, and wonderful reverb sound touch.

● Reverse Reverb with Feedback: Adds reverse reverb to the original sound, perfect for melancholy and slow chord plays and huge reverse feedback.

■MOMENTARY

If you hold (long press) the Bypass switch when it is off (bypass), the effect will be on only while you hold it down. When you release the Bypass switch, it turns off and the effect fades out.

As long as you hold the Sustain switch, the reverb trail will crescendo to its maximum.

If you release the switch, it will decrescendo. If you press and quickly release the Sustain switch, the current reverb decay will continue to sound. Press the switch again to cancel.

■JOYSTICK

Mix distortion and reverb to your heart's content using the joystick. Set the amount of reverb on the left and right, and the amount of distortion on the top and bottom. Full left is 100% dry, full right is 100% wet, full bottom is completely clean, and full top is maximum distortion.

■D＞R | R＞D

D>R | R>D switch allows you to change the connection order of distortion and reverb. The effect will vary greatly depending on this connection order. With D>R, single notes and chords can be heard as clearly as in a typical pedalboard setup. On the other hand, when R>D, single notes and chords melt into one another, forming a gigantic wall of sound. Also, the behavior with the joystick is slightly different.
