1864-79 SG43 1d RED PL.92 (AG) LONDON '11' DUBUS ON COVER TO TRING.
  
Clean entire posted to Aston Clinton, near Tring on 31 December 1867. 

The car manufacturer Aston Martin combined the Aston with it's co-founder Lionel Martin. The company had great success in the Aston Clinton Hill Climb competition up Aston Hill.

The printed inside has an overprinted Grant, Grant & Co Inland Revenue stamp.

The stamp has been placed in the correct corner. There is a straight line Tring backstamp on the reverse, dated 1 January 1868.
