How to use Turmeric Longa

Tea: pour 1/5 teaspoon (1 g) of ground root with 250 ml of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes. Drink three times a day 20 minutes before meals, at room temperature or warm.

Culinary purpose: Add to rice, potatoes, soups, sauces, fish dishes, mustards and mayonnaises.

How to make Golden Milk?

● 1 tablespoon of milk (cow, goat, soy, almond)

● 1 tsp. turmeric paste (see recipe below)

● 1 tsp. oil (coconut, almond, olive, sunflower)

● 1-2 tbsp. honey (to taste)

Making golden milk is very simple. In hot milk (you can take any of the above ingredients - the important thing is that it is not boiling, but slightly cooled so as not to neutralize the effect of honey) add turmeric paste, butter, honey and mix. It will immediately produce an intense yellow-orange color, hence the name.

You can add ½ tsp. cinnamon, ginger and vanilla - all to your taste. But it will certainly not be superfluous, because each spice is useful in its own way.

Golden milk can be drunk every day at any time of the day. But if you are worried about inner restlessness or insomnia, then drink it immediately before going to bed.
Turmeric paste recipe

● ¼ Art. turmeric powder

● ½ tbsp. water

● ¼ tsp. pepper

Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and put on the stove. Bring to a boil over low heat, then simmer for 6-8 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool and transfer to a clean jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
