Rosehip oil has a tonic effect, stimulates the body's
non-specific resistance, enhances tissue regeneration and hormone synthesis,
reduces vascular permeability, participates in carbohydrate and mineral
metabolism, has anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating properties for humoral
and cellular immunity.
Composition: Natural oil from rose hips.
Rosehip oil contains polyunsaturated (linolenic, oleic,
linoleic) and saturated (myristic, palmitic) fatty acids, vitamins C and A,
tocopherols, carotenoids, trace elements such as manganese, copper, strontium,
molybdenum, as well as macroelements (iron, magnesium, potassium , calcium,
phosphorus).
Indication:
Externally for cracks and sores of the nipples in nursing
women, for bedsores (death of tissues caused by long-term pressure on them due
to lying without movement), trophic ulcers (slowly healing skin defects) of the
lower leg, dermatoses (skin diseases), ozena (stinky runny nose); enemas for
non-specific ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon).
Action:
Rosehip oil contains unsaturated and saturated fatty acids,
carotenoids, tocopherols and other fat-soluble vitamins. It has a tonic effect,
stimulates the body's non-specific resistance, enhances tissue regeneration and
hormone synthesis, reduces vascular permeability, has an anti-inflammatory,
immunostimulating and choleretic effect due to the presence of polyunsaturated
fatty acids and flavonoids.
It is used as an anti-scarring agent for all types:
hypertrophic, hyperchromic, keloid, as well as for old scars. Helps with skin
irritations caused by friction. Helps in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis,
neurodermatitis; helps with skin problems caused by X-ray therapy
(inflammation, darkening of the skin, actinic dermatitis).
It is used for gingivitis,
stomatitis, as well as cracked nipples, bedsores, trophic ulcers, dermatoses; a
great remedy for chapped skin. Restores the skin after burns. It is used
externally for bedsores, trophic ulcers of the leg, dermatoses, ozene, for
non-specific ulcerative colitis (in enemas). It has a tonic effect, stimulates
non-specific resistance of the body, enhances tissue regeneration and hormone
synthesis, reduces vascular permeability, participates in carbohydrate and
mineral metabolism, has anti-inflammatory, as well as immunostimulating
properties in relation to humoral and cellular immunity.
Method of application and dosage
Externally, it is prescribed for
wetting gauze napkins, which are applied to the affected areas of the skin.
With ozen, tampons are moistened and inserted into the nasal cavity 2 times a
day. In the treatment of non-specific ulcerative colitis, rosehip oil is
injected with an enema of 50 ml every day or every other day (15-30 enemas).
For dermatoses, along with local treatment, the drug is taken orally for 1
teaspoon 2 times a day.
Contraindication:
The high content of ascorbic acid
makes the use of rose hips contraindicated in gastritis with increased acidity,
peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum.
The high content of vitamin K,
which increases blood coagulation, makes the use of rose hips contraindicated
in thrombophlebitis, heart failure of the 3rd degree and endocarditis.
Shelf life: Rosehip oil 2 years.
