This is a pair of rare, vintage boy and girl pedestal busts by Borghese.

The pair are reproductions of Louise and Alexander Brongiart sculptures by French sculptor Jean-Antioine Houdon (1741-1828). The boy and girl were the children of the famous French Architect Alexander Brongiart (1739-1813).

The busts are from the house of Borghese.

They are in good condition for their age with a gold band around each base. Note that the girl has a hairline fracture around the neck, read CONDITION for more details and SEE PHOTOS

The approximate measurements of each bust are: 9 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.

The original Borghese label is on the bottom of each bust.
