Available for you is this very nice original McCoy Cookie Jar; it is a vintage pottery piece designed in the 1960s and produced into the 1970’s. The marks are incised on the bottom and visible; measures about 10” tall and 8” wide. This bird hosts a soft brown matte semi-glaze with some of the features cold painted. It is in great condition and has been taken care of with most of the original paint intact. I am not sure if this piece has a name; as many of the pottery companies name their pottery characters. This owl is such a perfect addition to a Retro kitchen, nice gift or add-on to a McCoy collection.
