A near mint condition solid 9k gold hi-grade 15-jewelled half hunter cased pocket watch by the Jaeger Watch Company and retailed by Charles Litzman of Frankfurt au Main. The watch is clearly marked and in its original period case and comes withits lightly worn period gold plated Albert watch chain. The watch is in full working order and comes complete with a presentation box and recently serviced and overhauled and comes with a 2 year international mechanical warranty.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and in bright condition with no hairlines or chips. The dial with blue steel spade hands. Diameter is 41 mm. The inner crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with finely finished gilt plated movement and a Bosley regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with hairspring and club tooth lever escapement. The movement of good quality and with 15 jewels and wolf winding and typical jeager plate layout.
THE CASE: 100% mint, the solid 9k gold hunter case measures 50 mm and weights 73 grams. The front and rear covers are excellent, both are hinged and close nice and tightly. The case with top cover which pops open when the pendant button is depressed. The inner solid gold dust cuvette is crisp and clean, and signed and engraved by the retailer, Charles Litzman of Frankfurt au Main . The case with 9k gold Swiss hall marks, with a tiny head of Helvetia.
This is a high quality IWC hunter, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality.The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case.
