A set of three silver commemorative coins is dedicated to one of the national musical symbols - the world-famous Christmas carol "Schedryk" decorated by Mykola Leontovych. From 1919 to 1924, the Ukrainian Republican Chapel, led by the outstanding conductor Oleksandr Koshyts, as a cultural representative of Ukraine, gave more than 600 concerts in world music centers. The pearl of the choir's repertoire was "Schedryk", which was performed on October 5, 1922 in the most prestigious hall of New York - Carnegie Hall. Subsequently, the American conductor of Ukrainian origin, Peter Vilgovsky, wrote a new text for "Shchedryk" and set the melody to the "language" of the symphony orchestra. This is how "Carol of the Bells" appeared, which became one of the most popular Christmas songs in the world, the melody of which resembles a carol.

On the obverse of the coins from the set there is: below - the year of minting 20 / 23, the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, the inscription UKRAINE, the denomination 10 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, on two coins there are lines from the songs "Shchedryk" and "Carol of the Bells" (Carol of the Bells ) in Ukrainian and English;

above the inscriptions: the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, the weight of each coin in purity, the designation of the metal and its assay Ag 999 / 31.1; in the center of the two coins, a collective composition of angels is depicted as a symbol of purity and strength, God's help, protection and the bright holiday of Christmas, above the angels are the inscriptions TRIUMPH "SCHEDRYKA" and TRIUMPHANT CAROL OF THE BELLS; the central coin depicts a nativity scene with a Christmas star (an element of decoration is local gilding) - a cultural phenomenon that embodies deep historical Ukrainian traditions.

The reverse of the two coins depicts the stylized flags of Ukraine and the USA (decoration element – pad printing), compositions from historical religious buildings of Kyiv / New York (below) and a golden lace background with bells, symbolizing the filling of the space with the magical sounds of the carol melody (decoration element – local gilding);the central coin depicts a stylized composition of a choir performing a song under the direction of a conductor, above the choir – a silhouette of a swallow – the main character of the work; under the composition is a sheet music with the opening notes of the melody; inscriptions: FIRST PERFORMANCE OF "SCHEDRYK" AT CARNEGIE HALL UNDER THE GUN / CONDUCTOR OLEKSANDR KOSHYTS / 1922 (below).
