CLAY GAULT CUSTOM BOWIE KNIFE SET 1 OF 1

Description:

The larger knife has a blade  length of 9" and an overall length of 14".   "GAULT" is stamped on the obverse ricasso.  As typical with all Gualt knives, the blade has a hand-rubbed finish.  The dog-bone shape double guard is nickel silver.  The handle is mortised ebony with 24-line fleur-de-lys checkering.  The smaller knife has a blade length of 5 7/8" and an overall length of 10.5".  All features are similar to those of the larger knife.  Both knives and matching sheaths are in mint condition.  The set was made in 2002 for an advanced collector in California.
