Precautions:

l 1. Before using a fully invisible dive case for the first time, please upgrade the camera firmware first. The specific operation is as follows:

l 1.1 Open the X3 firmware download page of Insta360 official website https://www.insta360.com/download/insta360-x3 and download the X3 firmware with version number higher than or equal to v1.0.80, click "Click to download"

l 1.2 Turn on the X3, slide down from the top of the screen to enter the drop-down menu, click the "Settings" icon, and select "USB Mode" - "USB Flash Drive Mode"

l 1.3 Connect the X3 to your computer using the official Type-C cable, and copy the downloaded "Insta360X3FW.bin" upgrade file to the root directory of the camera disk

l Note: Please delete the old bin file (if any), and do not modify the file name and suffix of the unzipped firmware

l 1.4 Disconnect the imager from the computer and the X3 will automatically power off. Tap the camera power button to turn on the camera, the camera will recognize the firmware and upgrade automatically, at this time the display goes off and the indicator light is blue and long. The camera will reboot automatically after the upgrade is completed

l 1.5 Check if the firmware version is correct, please make sure the firmware version number is higher than or equal to v8.0.80. After the upgrade is completed, go to the drop-down menu of the camera, tap the "Settings" icon , and then tap "About Camera", you can check the current firmware version of the camera at "Firmware Version"

l 2. Do not open the dive housing when it is wet

l 3. After using the product in a seawater environment, open the case to remove the camera, then close the case and immerse it in clean (fresh) water for at least 60 minutes. If the product is not rinsed after use in seawater, residual salt will crystallize in the seams and form water-insoluble crystals. These salt crystals can push up on the seals and cause water to enter the product. Therefore, be sure to soak the product in fresh water. After removing the product from fresh water, rinse it under gently running tap water. Do not apply a strong stream of water from a single direction, as this may cause water ingress into the product

l 4. Make sure that the diving shell is securely closed before washing the product with water. After cleaning the product, use a dry towel to wipe away any water droplets remaining on the surface of the product. Do not use a dryer or oven for drying

l 5. Sand adhering to the product may scratch the surface of the product when wiping with a cloth.

l 6. Do not store the product in a hot and humid environment. In particular, do not leave the product in a car

l 7. Do not clean the product with soap and water, neutral detergent or alcohol. This may reduce the waterproof performance

l 8. Do not use organic solvents (such as thinner, alcohol or gasoline) for cleaning

l 9. Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated place

l 10. Please tighten the diving shell and self-timer rod and keep them in a straight line when using, otherwise it will easily affect the invisible effect
