This is a set of 2 vintage Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne soup / cereal bowls.  The pottery mark on each bowl depicts the castle mark logo (first used starting in the 1960s) followed by "PFALTZGRAFF U S A" impressed into the bottom, along with "009".

The Yorktowne line was first issued in 1967, so these bowls date between 1967 and approximately 2005, when Pfaltzgraff was purchased by Lifetime Brands, which moved production of Pfaltzgraff pottery from York, Pennsylvania, where it had long been made, to China.  The bowls are made of stoneware, with a blue pattern, and are 6 inches in diameter with a depth of 2 inches.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
