Snoopy Dog is a beloved comic strip character created by Charles M. Schulz. However, Snoopy was not a real-life pilot during the Vietnam War or any other military conflict. While Snoopy's creator, Schulz, was a World War II veteran, Snoopy himself remained a fictional character and did not serve in any real-world military capacity.

That being said, Snoopy did become associated with the U.S. military during the Vietnam War era. In particular, the image of Snoopy as a World War I flying ace, wearing his iconic aviator goggles and scarf, became a popular cultural symbol among U.S. servicemen during the conflict. The U.S. Air Force also briefly used a character named "Snoopy" as the call sign for one of its fighter squadrons during the Vietnam War, though this was unrelated to the comic strip character.
