Hard to find 1986-87 Hartford Whalers Junior Whalers sponsored by Thomas' English Muffins full team set of 23 tall boy cards.  The HARD TO FIND part of this lot is this set comes in the original Hartford Whalers team stationery envelope, with a fan letter (ticket offer) and Thomas' English Muffins insert!  I've seen these cards on occasion however I've never seen a complete set in original envelope with all the inserts from the mailing.  

This was the Whalers best regular season team, having won their only division title in their 17 years in Hartford.  They were beaten by Quebec in the first round of the playoffs.  HOFer Ron Francis and fan favorites Kevin Dineen, Ray Ferraro and Ulf Samuelsson are in this set, as well as Stanley Cup winning coach Joel Quenneville.

Condition:   Great shape, the overall average condition of these cards is NrMT, as they have been preserved in their original envelope as pictured.  The inserts show very light wear.  The envelope shows wear, tear and stains, which have no affected the cards.
