SUMMARY:
Vintage Art Deco German Junghans Mantle 30-Hour  Clock  ca. 1900 a rare item.

The clock ticks away for awhile 30-40 minutes and then stops. Sold needing a full clean and overhaul prior to use to ensure it will the full 30 hours it should, hand-set is fine as is winding.

A top section no doubt once with this clock, clearly missing unfortunately

The clock stands 16cm high with four brass feet to top of the case and 9.5 cms wide


THE DIAL: The clock with a silver silver finish and chapter ring with Arabic numerals, various marks around dial edge as shown  The dial with fine blued steel hands.  Chapter ring size is 50 mm.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with gilded plates and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. A simple 3 arm balance, with hairspring and pin-pallet escapement, and substantial mainspring. Watch movement very dirty and needs dismantling, a good clean and lube prior to use. Currently ticking for 30 to 40 minutes


THE CASE: 90% mint, the copper finishd case measures 16 cm high and 9.5 wide. The case in reasonable condion, most unusual for this type of case. The rear cover where winder and hand set button  are located. The base with cast brass feet and edge railing.
