CollectA Prehistoric World Gomphotherium is a dinosaur figure that depicts a lighter version of African and Asian elephants.
Gomphotherium, which means “welded beast” is a proboscidean prehistoric animal believed to have existed in the early Miocene era; around 10 million years ago. It weighed approximately five tons and measured about 15 feet, making it a tad smaller than the Asian and African elephants of today. The Gomphotherium has four tusks, with the upper pair covered with enamel. These tusks are what they used for uprooting plants.
As one of the top animal replica toymakers in the country, CollectA presents yet another fantastic miniature replica of a prehistoric animal.
