This listing is for a vintage wood lacing shoe made by Holgate.  It is the “Old Woman Lacing Shoe”.  The shoe measures approximately 7” H x 8.25” L x 3” D.   It has a green shoe lace to help teach your little one how to tie and 5 colorful wood peg people.  The peg people represent the old woman from the nursery rhyme and four of her children.  The old woman stands approximately 3.25” high and the children each stand approximately 2.75” high.  The peg people fit through the hole in the back of the shoe and store there, when the toy is not in use.  Simply loosen the laces and pull the tongue forward to remove them.


Condition:   Used condition with some light scuffs, as is normal from normal use and age.  The set originally came with 8 or 9 peg people, but some were lost and only 5 are included with this listing.
