Himalayan is the top quality Shilajit. Himalayan Shilajit is harvested at altitudes of 16,000 to 19,500 feet where there is almost no chance for contamination. It is considered a grade "A" Shilajit. Whereas Altay or Siberian Shilajit from PAKISTAN is sourced at lower altitudes of 15000 feet and is less potent. It is considered a grade "B" Shilajit.
