Dual Circuit Brake Master Cylinder Conversion Kit VW T2 Split Bus AC698015

Dual circuit master cylinder conversion kit (master cylinder not included). This kit is used to bolt a late dual circuit master cylinder (our part number 211-611-021AA) into a >67 T2. The kit includes a billet adaptor + bolts and a brake fluid reservoir.

For upto 1966 and 1967 euro spec non servo brakes with a dual master cylinder: The rear brake line and brake light switch are fitted to the front two ports closest to the push rod. You should have two front brake lines, one to each of the left and right front brakes. These fit to the two rear ports on the dual circuit cylinder. For 1967 US buses non servo brakes with a dual master cylinder: The rear line is fitted to one of the front ports closest to the pushrod. The front line is fitted to one of the rear ports. There are 2 brake light switches one in the front port and one in the rear port. Check the rod that goes into the master cylinder from the pedal. It should have an 1\/8 inch of play before, you can feel the rod make contact with the plunger If there is no play - the plunger will not come back far enough to let the fluid into the cylinder - If it has too much play you will be pushing the pedal down a long way before the master cylinder even does anything. To adjust undo the jam nut on the pushrod and change the length, then do the nut back up. PLEASE NOTE IF YOU HAVE AN ORIGINAL PEDAL PAN THIS WILL NO LONGER FIT DUE TO THE EXTRA LENGTH OF THE NEW MASTER CYLINDER.

STANDARD:
Usually 2 - 3 working day delivery, though we will always despatch your goods as quickly as we can and your parts may arrive quicker than this in some instances, or may occasionally take a little longer.

LARGE PANELS:
Some items require more expensive carriage to ensure they arrive in pristine condition or due to their size and weight - including panels, glass, axles, bumpers etc. Some glass items also require special packaging which will be automatically added to your order as a separate item if needed. Delivery is usually 2 - 3 working days for such items, though we will always despatch your goods as quickly as we can and your parts may arrive quicker than this in some instances, or may occasionally take a little longer.

EXPRESS:
Guaranteed next working day delivery on orders placed via our website before 4pm (or next working day plus one on orders placed after 4pm). Express orders to remote areas ie some parts of Scotland will be a 48 hour service. Very occasionally our couriers are not able to deliver within agreed timescales. In the event that your parts do not arrive on time, your carriage fee will be refunded in full. We are not able to refund any other costs arising from late delivery and would always recommend that you: do not book mechanics etc. until your parts have actually arrived place your order well in advance of holiday or show dates etc.

ENGINE ETC.:
Engines, gearboxes, bonnets and some other items need specialist carriage due to their size/weight and additional packing requirements. Delivery is usually 2 - 3 working days for such items, though we will always despatch your goods as quickly as we can and your parts may arrive quicker than this in some instances, or may occasionally take a little longer.
