Self made reproduction model 1932 Red Army shoulder strapped cover for the glass canteens, and old RIA canteens with rubber corks. Based on an original in my own collection. Will comfortably carry the large chunky glass canteens.  This style carrier was in use possibly as early as 1932.  Bag is closed by a drawstring and is made from single cotton twill imported from Russia. Approximately 16 cm x 18 cm with a 150 cm long x 25 mm wide cotton tape shoulder strap.  There is a cord sewn to the front for securing the rubber bung.
