Description of item for sale:

This antique fireplace screen is from France and dates to the early 1900's.  The middle is an intricate needlepoint design with a griffin.  The frame is walnut with some slight nicks and scratches.  Overall this piece is in good antique condition with minor imperfections that are only noticeable upon close inspection.  Note there are small tears in the fabric on the backside of the screen (see photos).  Dimensions: 37.75" tall, 22" wide and 11.75" deep.  (3304)
