Description of item for sale:

This pediment is from France and dates to the late 1800's.  It is carved from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color.  It is in very good antique condition-straight and solid with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age.  Note that there are large cracks in the crest and some woodworm holes towards the top (see photos).  Dimensions: 27.25" long, 9.75" high and 2" deep.  (6475 2)
