Antique Staffordshire Charles Allerton & Son Brown Stag Transferware Rare Defect

This set includes a teacup, under plate and a bread plate. Both plates are stamped CA & Sons Stag 750 England. The teacup is not marked. To the best of my knowledge they were made in the late 1800’s. There is normal wear and age. Please refer to the pictures for your opinion on their condition.

The bread plate measures just over 6.5” in diameter. When being made its pattern/transfer was unevenly applied to the rim. It does have a chip along the rim. However it is underneath the transfer pattern which I believe to be a manufacturing error. There is also a flea bite chip in the center. I’ve included all this in the photos.

The teacup measures 3.75” to the tip of the handle. It’s just over 2” tall with a 3” diameter. There is a chip on the rim which exceeds to the other side. This has caused a crack down the side. It is still in one piece however very fragile. The under plate is 5” in diameter. There are no cracks or chips. There is crazing and a spot of paint on the top. Please refer to the pictures as they are part of the description.
