This tropical hardwood is
dark red in color and has an oily look and feel.

due to its
ability to
withstand
repeated handling and exposure to water.
Most commonly tulip wood is the yellowish greenish wood
yielded from the tulip tree,
found on the eastern side if North America and
also in some parts of China.

it is commonly known as tulip poplar or yellow poplar.
