Warranty & Returns Policy All of our products (unless stated
otherwise) will come with an extensive 2yr labour and 1yr parts RTB (Return To
Base) warranty. For the avoidance of doubt, these are the headline details of
our policy: Products returned with fault within
12 months of purchase: *Buyer contacts seller to advise of
fault and intention to return. We will then endeavour to offer remote support
to solve any issues. *Buyer pays and organises return
postage back to our warehouse - Using Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 or Special
Delivery. Any item should be well packaged, (preferably in its original
packaging). *We will fix and/or replace all
faulty components free of charge and where not economically viable to repair
(or not possible due to lack of parts in stock) we will replace the entire item
with an equal or better spec. *We will then pay for return postage
back to buyer. Products returned with fault after
12 months & within 24 months of purchase: *Buyer contacts seller to advise of
fault and intention to return. We will then endeavour to offer remote support
to solve any issues. *Buyer pays and
organises return postage back to our warehouse - Using Royal
Mail Tracked 24/48 or Special Delivery. Any item should be well packaged,
(preferably in its original packaging). *We will diagnose and conclude what
needs replacing and/or fixing and calculate the cost of parts to achieve a
working item. The buyer will then be informed via email of this cost and the
buyer will have the choice whether or not to pay this fee (via PayPal Invoice).
Once payment has been received from the buyer, we will then complete all works
without charging for any engineer time involved in this process. *Whether the buyer decides to pay
for replacement parts or not, we will then pay for return postage back to
buyer. Products returned for full refund
(whether with fault or without) within 30 days: *Buyer contacts seller to advise of
intention to return. We will then endeavour to offer remote support to solve
any issues. *Buyer pays and
organises return postage back to our warehouse - Using Royal
Mail Tracked 24/48 or Special Delivery. Any item should be well packaged,
(preferably in its original packaging). *Upon receipt of well packaged item,
(preferably in its original packaging), we will assess if product is in as-sold
condition and any damage assessed & reported. Unpacking and testing
will be carried out with video recording. *Buyer will be informed of refund
amount which will be calculated as follows: Original sale price minus (seller's
original postage costs + any non-recoupable eBay transaction and/or promotion
fees + 10% of sale price charged as admin re-stock fee + any damage-related
depreciation costs as outlined in the point above). *If buyer accepts this refund
amount, we will endeavour to action the refund within 5 working days (usually
much sooner). *If buyer refuses to accept the
refund amount, item will be sent back to buyer AFTER we have received payment
for return postage costs (via PayPal invoice). *The above policy is in place to
protect us from fraudulent or deliberately malicious purchases, and it is
ALWAYS recommended that the buyer should allow us to address any faults under
warranty and return the computer without refund. Standard limit of responsibility. *It is the sole responsibility of
the buyer to ensure that all their data is backed-up BEFORE returning any
computers to us. *We cannot guarantee the integrity
or safety of your data at any stage of the ownership or return process of any
computer. *During a return for repair process,
whilst we will make every effort to keep the operating system intact with all
your data, in exceptional cases it may be necessary to reinstall the operating
system and therefore we cannot guarantee the safety of your data. As a matter
of good practice, we recommend that you always back up your data on a regular
basis to avoid any disappointment due to data corruption or hardware failure. *It is the sole responsibility of
the buyer to carry out any electrical safety testing (such as industry standard
PAT testing) at their own expense, should they feel the need to do so. In some
cases, this is a requirement where electrical equipment is used in a business
environment. *The seller will not be held
responsible for any damage, injury or death caused by the use of any of our
products. Please ensure that our products are used responsibly and in
accordance with any best practices in place within your territory.
*The maximum value of the seller's
liability will always be limited to the value of the products purchased. |
