The WALT DISNEY Alice in Wonderland Doll, by EFFANBEE
With Doll Box and Disneyland Shopping Bag and Receipt

  • I purchased this doll at Disneyland's Emporium on Main Street (Anaheim, California) sometime in the 1980s. The doll was briefly displayed in a curio cabinet. For decades, the doll has been stored in a climate controlled, pet-free, and smoke-free home. Will ship securely.
  • The stamped markings on her neck are difficult to see, but I believe it reads:
EFFANBEE
3381
19 (c) 81

Original tag and string, on the doll's left hand, reads:
[Front, gold heart]
I AM AN
Effanbee
DOLL THAT WILL TOUCH
YOUR HEART

  • Over the years the black ribbon on her hair has rubbed on the back of the doll's neck producing a very light grey smudge (see photo).
  • The doll's soles of her shoes are scuffed, stood on a wood shelf in a curio cabinet for a time.
  • The doll is wearing all original clothing, as seen in the Walt Disney Productions' 1951 animated film "Alice In Wonderland." Snaps on dress are sturdy. Clothing is clean with no stains or fading.
  • The box is in good condition, although the clear cellophane "window" is no longer attached to the cardboard lid on the lower left side. The box is tamped "3398 (c) Walt Disney Productions."
  • An original Disneyland Emporium receipt is included. Originally was stapled to the bag by Emporium cashier and kept for you until your exit from the park.
  • A Disneyland shopping bag is included.  It measures 23" x 16" and is crinkly plastic.  These are the attractions featured on the bag: Castle; Haunted Mansion; Thunder Mountain; Haunted Mansion; Tea Cups (with Dumbo); Mark Twain Paddlewheel (Tom Sawyer's Island); Dumbo Ride; Main Street with Horse Drawn Trolley; Space Mountain; Swiss Family Robinson's Tree house; Pirates of the Caribbean; Storybook Land Canal Boats; Peter Pan Ride; Monorail (with Submarine Ride and Matterhorn); Jungle Boat Cruise; Country Bear Jamboree; It's A Small World; Autopia (with Skyway and PeopleMover); New Orleans Square; and Pinocchio dancing in Town Square. There is a small puncture hole on the Paddlewheel image, bottom right (see photos).
  • The shopping bag is identified: (c) 1986 THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY
