Gibson 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue VOS Double Gold #731113

One of Gibson Les Paul's most beloved signature models, the 1957 Les Paul Gold Top, is now in stock!

The Les Paul model, which was born in 1952, has a history of specifications such as looks, sound, and playability that have changed with the progress of Gibson, but this model is the 57Les equipped with a humbucker PU, which was the final form of the Gold Top in the 1950s. Paul Goldtop. The bridge is equipped with a tune-0-matic & stop tailpiece that was used until the later burst period.

The top of the body is finished in a gold color called Double Gold, as the model name suggests. Depending on the viewing angle and how the light hits it, you can enjoy the color changing from a bitter deep green to a bright green-gold. The beautiful top curve of the body, which is unique to Les Paul, further enhances the coloring and gives off a presence that is different from the burst model.
Of course, True Historic parts are used for the hardware and plastic parts, and the metal parts are given a mild aged finish that goes well with the VOS finish, further enhancing the old-taste charm of the Historic model. .

The installed pickup is a Custombucker Alnico III pickup that has no impregnation treatment on the entire surface, and a 2019 Hisco Les spec, old nuance equipped with a bumblebee type paper oil condenser that was newly adopted from 2019 and a CTS pot that pursues a vintage curve. The outstanding Les Paul sound that further pursues this will delight players.
The 1957 model is made of tone wood material with a plain maple top/mahogany back body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The weight of the new model is approximately 4 kg, which is recommended for its powerful sound output and easy handling. Completed with weight balance. It has a certain sound pressure that is typical of a humbucker, but it also has a crisp sound, and the crunchy sound full of vintage feeling is further emphasized by new electronics.

And, as one of the specifications that has been continuously adopted since 2018, the fret wire also uses a narrow type made by JESCAR that takes into account historical research. Some of you may remember this slender fret, as it was used in previous Collector's Choice series models that profiled the 1958 and early 1959 models. Although it may seem like a slight difference at first glance, it creates a clear difference in playing comfort from the previous 57, 58 Les Paul, and 59 Les Paul, and has clearly established its individuality as a new model.
The neck grip is a solid C grip that is not too thick. The powerful vibrations generated by the moderately thick neck and the edgy response feel are unique to this 57 model.

This is a classic yet exceptional item that will move the hearts of Gold Top fans with its looks and sound! Don't miss it! !
