Loree Oboe SN AK64 HISTORIC COLLECTION

Here's a Loree Oboe from the famous AK series (SN AK64). 

These instruments were considered so exceptional that Loree designed a model around the bore of the instruments from this series, the so-called AK bore. This one has had some cracks and is banded on the top joint. It will need a repad.

Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale. 

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner. Instrument will likely need pad and keywork to be playable.
