I brought this camera last year from a Japanese seller on this website, and have taken great care of the unit while I've had it.
I've taken some of my best portraits with this camera and lens, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is taking interest in serious portraiture/ landscape/ general photography.
I've decided it's time to pass this camera on, as I am thinking of buying a 6x6 system.

Overall Condition at a Glance:
- Signs of cosmetic wear.
- Prism is clear.
- TTL prism works perfectly.
- Lens has extremely minimal fungus around edges of lens. This is barely noticeable at all.
- Mirror Lock up works perfectly.
- Battery check works perfectly.
The Pentax 6x7:
- Features a Mirror lock up (to minimise camera shake) which can be activated once the shutter has been loaded.
- Cosmetic scratching of paint around the sides and top of the camera (see images). This was already present on the camera when I brought it
- TTL prism works perfectly
- No issues while using the unit
- Light seals work, no light leaks.
- 1s-1/1000s + Bulb shutter speed (1/30 flash sync)
- Flash adaptors ( X-mount works, FP mount- untested)
Takumar Lens:
- Slightly yellowed, can be fixed/ cured with a UV light (included in box)
- Minimal fungus (barely noticeable, very small)
- Aperture preview works
- Small signs of cosmetic use
