An absolute basketball relic from the 1990s! Before Magic returned to the Lakers in 1996, he toured the world with the Magic Johnson All Stars. This included a trip to Australia where they played five matches against the Australian Boomers in 1995.

Check out the games on YouTube - there were some classics including Magic hitting a three on the buzzer to go to OT.

This is the warm up top as worn by the All Stars. Made by Fiddes Sports who will be well known to Aussie basketball fans from the 90s, this features fully embroided logos on the front and the classic red rooster sponsorship on the back. For our international friends, red rooster is a fast food chicken chain well known in Australia who (very obviously!) sponsored the series.

I'm unaware if these were sold as retails or just player issued. There is a hand written P and number (25??) on the back of one tag which may be a clue or may mean absolutely nothing - I just don't know.

In very good condition for its age but a few frayed threads on some of the embroidery and a few very small marks at the bottom on the front.

A rare collectors item which screams 1990s!

Size Large 57cm pit to pit and 77cm top to bottom at back.
