The latest AustriAlpin development is a synergistic hybrid of two standard products of safety industry hardware: the parachute D-Ring and the ANSI cobra. the unique construction prevents the D-Ring from getting squeezed against the webbing and therefore guarantees easy handling.

AustriAlpins patented D Ring Cobra Buckles are used by the Military, Para-Sport, Industrial Safety, Offshore Rigging, Flight suits, riggers belts and just about anywhere else you find a D-ring and fastener / buckle.Buckle: 18kN / 4000lb MBS (straight pull). 36kN Loop configuration.

ANSI Cobra exceed all ANSI Z359.1 (4.3.1.3 and figure 25) requirements which stipulate that all hardware buckles and adjusters exceed a 17.8kN (4000lb) tensile load /internal frame test for one minute.

All parts are CNC machined, stamped, polished, assembled, QA inspected, and packed (re: from alpha to omega) in AustriAlins ISO 9001 approved facility, located in the famous Stubai valley of Austria. All Cobra products are tested and certified by highly respected independent /3rd party test houses to meet the highest degree of reliability and assurances for static and dynamic strengths.
