This listing is for a vintage crib mobile, with characters from "The
New Zoo Revue." This kiddie TV show ran from 1972 to 1977. The mobile is
COMPLETE and comes inside the original box. The box reads, "THE NEW ZOO
REVIEW - Hand Painted Musical Mobile...Colorful Hardwood Figures -
Easily Attaches To Crib Or Playpen...Copyright 1975 Young Designs."
There are figures of Freddie the Frog, Charlie the Owl, Henrietta Hippo
and a couple of other characters I don't recognize. The "music box" is
inside a round section that has Freddie beating a drum. When you wind
it, it still plays music properly. The actual mobile is in VERY GOOD
condition. There are five plastic "treble clefs, each is supposed to
have two sides, but ONE SIDE OF ONE NOTE IS MISSING. (See close-up with
pencil point.) The BOX is probably POOR to FAIR. It is MISSING THE TOP
END FLAP. It is TORN on one side, at the bottom. There is yellowing to
the white background on the box. The box still displays pretty well.
This item is guaranteed to be old & original - made almost 50 years
ago - or your money back.
