GARAGE DOOR LOGIC BOARD REMOVAL:
Unplug the AC cord from the wall outlet. Allow about 5 minutes for the board to cool down.
Remove light cover.
Disconnect the sensor and wall switch signal wires. You can leave the screws attached.
Unscrew the 4 mounting screws that secures the face plate. (Upper and lower screws differ)
Disconnect the long rectangular white plug from the logic board. You’ll need to wiggle and pull the board from the connector
Remove the 5 phillips head screws holding the logic board to the plastic faceplate.
DO NOT SHIP THE PLASTIC FACEPLATE
I solely require the Logic Board, and additional shipping fees may apply if the black mounting plate is included. Wrap the logic board in a non conductive material, such as newspaper. Please refrain from using plastic bags unless they are ESD SAFE! Use suitable packing material and a shipping BOX exclusively! I've experienced units arriving in soft pack shipping envelopes which often resulted in damage.
You'll be responsible for the cost of shipping the garage logic board to me. Please message me with your tracking number!
