The Semper August Large Serving Dish, from the most elegant collection of KENZO tableware, is made of porcelain and features a rare and expensive variety of tulip sold at the Dutch auction of 1637 for the equivalent of $178,000. Inspired by the history of Tulip Mania, Mr. Kenzo Takada created a floral motif with a unique palette, displayed on the petals of paired tulips in the form of thin feathers with blood red, purple, bright yellow and blue flashes on a white background, framed by cobalt and yellow border.
