PHOTOGRAPHER Willis W. Vail Always had; "One Foot On The Platform, and One Foot On The Train" Here are three Examples of his Photographic Work in New Orleans. The wood-framed (old Cedar - no glass) prints are
7 1/2" x 11 1/2" (outside dimensions) printed on Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper dry-mounted on 1/4" white foam-core. I made these prints for a show in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2011. I made the old Cedar frames with my my own two hands (and my table saw ;) The Cedar was salvaged from old fence pickets in Santa Fe. The orange reflection you see is from our fireplace, not a flaw in the print.
These Prints Are Little Gems - Uncle Willis Would Be Proud.
