The legendary guitar is back for a limited time! G6199 Billy-Bo Jupiter Thunderbird!
The "G6119 Bill Bo Jupiter Thunderbird" is based on a guitar that was created in 1959 as an idea by Bo Diddley.
The G6199 Bill-Bo Jupiter Thunderbird is a guitar that Billy loved so much that he gave it to his friend Billy Gibbons as a gift, so he re-produced it to take with him on tour.
This time, it has been revived as a special model to commemorate Gretsch's 140th anniversary in limited quantities.
The sound produced by Chambered's maple/mahogany body and TV Jones Power'Tron pickups is truly rock'n'roll!
The sound that combines power and air is a must-hear.
Billy F. Gibbons says
Bo gave me a guitar a while back.
When he was recording ZZ Top, he and his engineer went through a storage room for guitars and found the guitar that he thought was the one.
I thought it would be dangerous to use such a rare guitar for recording, so I created this replica model with specs that I liked.
Now it has grown into a groovy guitar that can be used on the main stage.
