DS Audio's first entry model
■Uses the same designed vibration system as DS Master1, DS-W2
The DS-E1 is equipped with the same wire suspension mechanism as the DS Master1, DS-W2, and DS002, achieving high channel separation and stable music playback. In addition, by locating the slit close to the needle tip, it is now possible to extract more fresh information.
■Oval needle used on aluminum cantilever
The cantilever is made of aluminum and the needle tip is an oval needle (solid diamond). In addition, the display part of the indicator part uses acrylic. Mass production efficiency is increased by setting the channel separation spec 1dB lower than that of DS002.

■Achieved miniaturization by using operational amplifiers
The DS-E1 equalizer uses an operational amplifier as the amplification element, greatly reducing the number of parts, and as a result, it is approximately 1/3 the size of the DS002 equalizer.
■Made by hand in Japan
Like the higher-end models, the front panel of the DS-E1 is made of completely machined aluminum parts, and each piece is handmade by skilled technicians at the DS Audio building in Sagamihara City.
