Description
The G6128T-GH George Harrison Signature Duo Jet celebrates the legacy of legendary guitarist George Harrison by recreating what he called his "first proper guitar."
This GH6128T-GH recreates the distinctive decoration and specifications found on the original GRETSCH Duo Jet (made in 1957) that Harrison purchased secondhand in the early 1960s.
Features include a mid-50s lightweight chambered construction body, a tailpiece with a BigsbyR B3C tremolo arm (using black Phillips Phillips screws for the vibrato handle bolt), and an offset strap button.
Other specifications include 3-ply binding (white/black/white) around the body and 1-ply white binding around the neck and headstock.
. Includes a 12-inch radius (304.8 mm), 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid humptop inlays, and two Dyna Sonic single-coil PUs. It features a vintage-style locking bar bridge with a rosewood base, a silver plexi pickguard, chrome-plated Grover® V98CM Sta-Tite tuners, GRETSCH G-arrow control knobs, and chrome-plated hardware. Harrison's signature is engraved on the truss rod cover, and a hard case is included.
