Rudall Rose and Carte Solid Silver Handmade Flute INTERESTING

Here's a nice Rudall Rose and Care handmade flute. 

Tube and headjoint are solid silver, and the holes are soldered. Inscription reads: Rudall, Rose, Carte, and Co, Patentees, 30 Charing Cross, London, Boehm's Parabola, Carte's Mechanism, Rebuilt by Morley, London. This flute will need a full rebuild to be playable.

Provenance: The Nowinski Collection. Jack Nowinski was an instrument repairman and collector who spent his lifetime amassing an impressive collection of interesting instruments. We are happy to offer instruments from his collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner. Instrument will need pad and keywork to be playable.
