This is a 1937 quart milk bottle from H.P. Hood & Sons, Dairy Experts which is embossed on the front with the word "Store" in bold letters on the neck, and "Registered" with what looks like embossed hash marks I II below around the bottom rim. The other side reads "HOOD" in big bold letters, with "Mass T Seal, One Quart" on the neck, and "MTC" on the bottom rim. The base of the bottle reads "Hood Store 1937". Around the lip is a unusual and beautiful diamond pattern and the upper neck has indents for a good grip. The bottle has two chips, one on the lip, and one on the base. Please see the photos with the blue cirlces for visual details of the chips. There are superficial scratches as well, not uncommon with a bottle this old. This is a really stellar milk bottle. There is so much detail. It is a rare gem for a collector.
