KAY, a guitar brand founded in Chicago in the 1930s and used by many artists in the blues man, jazz, and early rock 'n' roll scenes, was reissued as a vintage reissue in the 2000s. The guitar has a single-cut hollowbody with unique brazing, a flame maple top, maple sides, and an arched maple back. The neck is not warped, and the frets are about 70% full, with plenty of room left in the truss rod.
