Very cool, molded from a real lightbulb. 

The filament and base are from a real lightbulb, the acrylic would have been poured into a light bulb, let harden and then the glass broken away. 

The base (which I believe is brass) from the original bulb would have been reattached to the now lightbulb shaped acrylic to make this really cool paperweight. 

One side of the acrylic bulb part is flattened so that it stands. 

This has been around our house since the 70s. Time to downsize. 

It's in really good shape, has a few small scuffs on it.
